Christine moved to Australia two years ago. While living in the United Kingdom, Christine performed with St. Alban’s Chamber Opera, Grange Opera and Southgate Opera companies. During this time she has performed in choral works with a number of London choirs performing Rossini’s Petit Messe Solonelle, Handel’s Messiah, Jephtha, Bach’s St Matthew’s Passion, Mass in B minor, Christmas Oratorio and Verdi’s Requiem. Christine studied singing with Chris Neave and Shirley Pilgrim in the United Kingdom. Some of her most notable theatrical roles have included “Katisha” in The Mikado, “Dame Carruthers” in Yeoman of the Guard, “The Duchess of Plaza Toro” in The Gondoliers, “Ulrica” in Verdi’s The Masked Ball, “Mercedes” in Carmen, “Orlovsky” in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. |
