Toby Page, Bass
Toby is featured as “Sergeant of Police” in this year's production of The Pirates of Penzance.
Toby is very excited that his debut performance in comic opera is with Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Sydney.
Having participated in Open courses at NIDA and Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) since he was 6 years old, Toby has always been keenly interested in many areas of the performing arts. At the moment he is focused upon developing his comedy theatre, stand-up and singing performance skills. Early in 2017 he played “Captain Hook” in Stiles and Drewe’s Peter Pan – A Musical Adventure at The Concourse in Chatswood, a role that allowed him to explore a gloriously funny and eccentric musical theatre character.
Toby is a student at Victoria Watson’s Vocal Studio and is an active member of his school’s Advanced Choir and Jazz Vocal Ensemble. He also studies Drama as a curriculum subject. As a regular participant in his school’s musical productions, talent showcases and competitions, Toby is the proud recipient of a number of awards for both singing and drama.
