Bela Rivas, Mezzo-SopranoBela shares the role of “Lady Sangazure” in The Sorcerer.
Bela Rivas is honoured and excited to return to G&S Opera Sydney, and to share the role of Lady Sangazure. She has always loved theatre and singing, but has only started performing again recently after a brief love affair with the stage in high school. Bela’s previous roles include ensemble in Pirates of Penzance, In The Heights, as well as Kate (Pirates of Penzance) and Narrator (Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat). As this is a shared role, you will see Bela performing as Lady Sangazure at the following performances: Bundanoon 1.30pm North Sydney (Main Season) 10 Oct @7.30pm North Sydney (Main Season) 11 Oct @ 7.30pm |

About UsThe Savoy Arts Company Incorporated has been producing shows since 1985, specialising in the operettas of William Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. To better reflect its primary artistic objective, commencing from 2014, the company will be performing as Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Sydney.
