Amelia Myers, SopranoSoprano Amelia Myers has been a member of Sydney Philharmonia Choirs for over a decade, performing with VOX and Chamber Singers. Her singing experience spans a range of genres; from large choral works at the Sydney Opera House, to a variety of film soundtracks, contemporary works and chamber music. Recently she has started branching out into opera, performing in the chorus with The Cooperative for Tosca and Le nozze di Figaro, and Rockdale Opera Company’s production of The Elixir of Love. She is delighted to be performing her first ever role as Leila in Iolanthe with GSOS. When not singing, Amelia is a commercial illustrator with a passion for portraiture and fantasy art.

About UsThe Savoy Arts Company Incorporated has been producing shows since 1985, specialising in the operettas of William Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. To better reflect its primary artistic objective, commencing from 2014, the company will be performing as Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Sydney. Our performing group has provided excellent training in all aspects of stagecraft for performers who have made a career in opera and musical theatre. The Ensemble style of our productions not only provides the chorus with experience in singing with an orchestra, but also provides ample opportunity to learn and develop skills in characterisation and stagecraft.
