Gary Selby, TenorGary first performed with G&S Opera Sydney in The Mikado in 2010 with the men’s chorus and had such a great time he has performed in every production since and is enjoying his second year on the committee.
He was a member of the A Capella choir The Cleftomaniacs for 4 years and has also performed in numerous Operas since 2007 with Rockdale Opera Company as well as in Musicals with Ashfield Musical Society, Canterbury Theatre Guild and spent 8 years at Strathfield Musical Society (SMS) performing in and producing numerous shows and was President in 2013. Principal roles include: The Pajama Game – Hasler, Joseph’s Technicolor Dreamcoat – The Pharaoh, Tarantara – Grossmith, How to Succeed in Business – Gatch/Ovington, Jeckyll and Hyde - Poole and The Music Man – The Quartet, all with SMS. |

About UsThe Savoy Arts Company Incorporated has been producing shows since 1985, specialising in the operettas of William Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. To better reflect its primary artistic objective, commencing from 2014, the company will be performing as Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Sydney. Our performing group has provided excellent training in all aspects of stagecraft for performers who have made a career in opera and musical theatre. The Ensemble style of our productions not only provides the chorus with experience in singing with an orchestra, but also provides ample opportunity to learn and develop skills in characterisation and stagecraft.
